Sam Raimi will return to his genre roots to direct the supernatural thriller DRAG ME TO HELL which he co-wrote with his brother Ivan Raimi back in the early 90's reports Variety. Producer Robert Tapert says that the film is "a wild ride with all the chills and spills that THE EVIL DEAD delivered, without relying on the excessive violence of that film", and confirms that no distributor has yet been set. After this film, Raimi is expected to take the helm of THE HOBBIT films for New Line and MGM now that Peter Jackson has made it clear he won't direct
